Farewell, 2012.

It’s pretty difficult to write a year end blog when there are still a few things up in the air.

I’d love to tell you if I made progress tackling my debt, but some of my bills get paid on the 1st of the month, and, being New Year’s Day, the first of the month is a bank holiday, so those bills won’t be paid until the 2nd, so I can’t really report on my year over year progress until then.

I’ve got some pretty big life changes coming up, but they aren’t official yet, so while I’ve been able to let a few friends in on the news, I can’t mention it in a public blog.

I’ve got a rough idea of which goals I’d like to set for 2013, but some of them are related to my budget, or to my upcoming changes, or just to things that I can’t be specific about right now because they relate to notes I made in a book that’s sitting on my desk in Toronto, and I’m currently blogging from my parents’ kitchen table in London.

So as much as I’d like to cap off the year with a victory cheer (and, for the record, even without the details I still consider this year to be one of victories), I can’t do it just now. Don’t worry, there will be a blog tallying scores and setting new goals, I just probably won’t be able to write it until at least next weekend.

So… that was anticlimactic…

Happy New Year!
